How Our Interview Process Works

Step 1 — Submit Your Materials
Please email your resume (including music education, performance experience, and teaching experience) and a 2–3 paragraph teaching philosophy to info@pugetsoundspianoschool.com, attention Hyun Su Seo (General Manager).

Step 2 — Zoom Conversation
Hyun Su will reach out to schedule a Zoom meeting to get to know you, share more about teaching at PSPS, and answer your questions.

Step 3 — Performance Sample
We’d love to hear you play!
You may either:

  • Send a link to a performance recorded within the last two years, or

  • Plan to play in person during Step 4.

Step 4 — In-Studio Interview
You’ll meet with Shannon Keeler (Artistic Director) for a studio tour, a conversation about your teaching approach, and (if needed) a brief in-person performance.

Step 5 — Background Check
We conduct a professional criminal background check for all new hires.

Step 6 — Welcome to PSPS!
If it’s a great match, you’ll receive an official offer and begin working with our wonderful students.
