Piano Flourish is a fun, supported, virtual, asynchronous program for students to do on their own, at home, at their own pace. Students work through the same curriculum taught through in-person lessons, including improvisation, duets, and drills. Bi-monthly check-ins with Teacher Shannon are encouraged!
Participating students will need to have a piano or keyboard to practice on, a device to watch the lessons on, a printer to print out lesson materials, and a three-ring binder to put all of the materials in. No printer? No problem! Click here to purchase a printed copy of the materials and have them mailed to you.
Students will watch two lessons per week ranging from 8 minutes to 20 minutes. In between each lesson, students are asked to practice the materials each day, which takes on average between 5-10 minutes at the beginning levels.
The Piano Flourish lesson program allows students to benefit from the teaching of master instructor Shannon Keeler, at a fraction of the cost of traditional lessons. The flexibility of this program makes it a perfect fit for many busy families; students can have their lessons when convenient and when they’re ready, no hustling in the car required! Plus; it’s fun! Your child will likely know many of the songs they will be learning; familiar music will help your beginning pianist be excited to learn and show off their music.
Parents are encouraged to send an update, and any questions, via email after the first four lessons are completed. At the end of each eight-lesson group, parents are asked to record their student playing two or three of their favorite songs learned, and send to Teacher Shannon for celebration and things to work on moving forward.
You will have ongoing access to the program purchased; there are no time limitations to finish the program.
